Two types of solution are available with Pivotal MarketFirst.
Server Client based Java solution.
Server Client and web based solution.
The second allows for the Pivotal MarketFirst Campaign portal product to be deployed. The advantage of this is that no client is required to be installed. However this is meant for remote offices where limited interaction is required in marketing campaign design. For full functionality remotely the Java client needs to be installed.

IE 5.5 or greater or Netscape 4.76 or greater
System requirements for Windows based server. The following tables outline the hardware and software requirements and suggested applications for server computers and client workstation computers.
Hardware requirements
Table 1: Server hardware requirements
- Storage minimum: 200-MB free disk space
- CPU minimum: Pentium 633 MHz
- Memory minimum: 256 MB
- Recommended: 512 MB
- Network Adapter: TCP/IP
Table 2: Client hardware requirements
- Storage 75-MB free disk space if you choose not to install the Pivotal MarketFirst PDF documentation.
- If you want to install the PDF documentation, you must have:
- 100-MB of free disk space.
- CPU minimum: Pentium 450 MHz
- Memory minimum: 128 MB
- Network Adapter: TCP/IP
